Privacy Policy

Focal ADAS ("Focal ADAS," "we," "us," "our") provides mobile Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration services to collision repair businesses in Washington State. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through focaladas.com and hq.focaladas.com (the "Sites") and our services, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. By using the Sites or our services, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. Calibration requests and shop accounts: business name, contact name, phone number, email address, shop address, vehicle information (year, make, model, VIN), requested services, messages, files and photos you upload, and payment-related details processed by our payment providers. If you text or call us, we receive your number and the content of your messages.

Information collected automatically. IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interaction data. Focal ADAS uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from bots; it evaluates signals such as IP address and browser characteristics and does not use advertising cookies. Basic analytics measure aggregate site usage.

Information from others. Insurance carriers, repair platforms, or the vehicle owner's authorized representatives may provide vehicle or claim details needed to perform a calibration.

2. How we use information

To respond to and schedule requests; perform, document, and warrant calibrations; generate quotes, invoices, and compliance reports; communicate about jobs; operate, secure, and improve the Sites; prevent fraud and abuse; comply with law; and enforce our agreements.

3. Text messages (SMS) consent

By providing your phone number or texting Focal ADAS at (206) 460-0999, you consent to receive transactional and service-related calls and text messages from Focal ADAS (for example scheduling, arrival windows, quotes, and job updates), including messages sent with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply; frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Focal ADAS does not send marketing texts without separate consent.

4. How we share information

Focal ADAS does not sell or rent personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Focal ADAS shares information only with: (a) service providers under contract who process it on its behalf, including Cloudflare (security, bot protection, hosting), Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Resend (transactional email), Stripe and Square (payments), and Google services where enabled (analytics, address lookup); (b) parties to the repair as needed to perform and document the job (the requesting shop, and where applicable the insurance carrier or its platforms); (c) legal and safety recipients where required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety; and (d) a successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, under this Policy's protections.

5. Cookies and tracking

Focal ADAS uses essential cookies for sign-in, security, and site function, and limited analytics. Focal ADAS does not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because industry standards vary, the Sites do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

6. Data retention

Focal ADAS retains information as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including recordkeeping required for calibration documentation, tax, accounting, insurance, and dispute resolution, then deletes or de-identifies it.

7. Security

Focal ADAS uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, role-based access, multi-factor authentication on administrative access, and audit logging. No system is completely secure; you use the Sites at your own risk to the extent permitted by law.

8. Your choices and rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your information by emailing service@focaladas.com; Focal ADAS will respond within a reasonable time and verify the request. You may opt out of texts (STOP) and non-essential emails (unsubscribe). Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable law; Focal ADAS honors rights requests as required.

9. Children

The Sites and services are for businesses and are not directed to, and Focal ADAS does not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.

10. Changes

Focal ADAS may update this Policy. The effective date above reflects the latest version; material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
